General Info:

In Ms. Nagan's art classroom, students know that there is often more than one way to solve a problem.  Creativity is an important skill for students to develop, so students are always given the chance to solve an art challenge in their own way.

In art class, students will develop skills in clear visual communication, critical thinking and problem solving, flexibility, collaboration, application, taking initiative, writing about their own art and the art of others, curiosity and imagination, art media and tool usage and safety, finding and using visual clues, artistic behaviors, and more.

Every artist has a voice.  In art class, students have the chance to use their artistic voice to express who they are, where they come from, what they think, what they are interested in, and how they view the future.
